Our story
Why I created this.
I created this story after my son was born — in that quiet, overwhelming season where love feels bigger than words.
I kept thinking about how the people around him would shape who he becomes, and how deeply I wanted him to always know he was loved.
This book grew from that feeling — a way of putting those things into something tangible, to keep and come back to over time.

Then the idea became bigger than the book.
As I worked on it, I realised the idea at the heart of the book was bigger than the book itself.
There are so many things we mean to say to the people in our lives.
That we’re proud of them. That we’re grateful for them. That they matter.
Sometimes the words come easily. Sometimes they don’t.
And sometimes we know what we mean, but haven’t quite found the right way to say it.
That is where My Red Thread Tales began to make sense as something bigger. Not as a way of speaking for people, but as a way of helping them express something that was already theirs to say.
Something worth keeping.
There is something different about giving important words a physical home. Something that can be held. Put away. Found again. Returned to years later.
The keepsake matters because of what sits behind it: the people, the relationship and whatever it was you wanted to say in the first place.
